Wednesday Sept 17, Thursday Sept 18, Friday Sept 19th:
"Forest park Fest and Tour de Loo".

The loos of Forest Park's merchants will be turned into art installations by eight local artists who will be paired with kids from Magic Moments (a local organization whose mission is to fulfill the dreams of Alabama children with chronic life-threatening illnesses)

Guest bartenders - funds will be raised by having guest bartenders in every business in Forest Park with 100% of tips going to Magic Moments.

Dine, wine and shop in Birmingham's hippest neighborhoods!
Restaurants will have specials, wine tastings etc...
Shops and galleries will be open late (5-8pm), catch the shows you may miss during the day, shop for gifts while enjoying a refreshment. Enjoy the social scene of Forest Park and Avondale after hours.

Guest bartenders at Naked Art:
Wednesday September 17th: Guest bartender TBA,
100% of bar tips will benefit "Magic Moments"
Thursday September 18th:
Joseph Casper Baker III, 100% of bar tips will benefit "Magic City Moments"
Friday September 19th: 100% of bar tips will benefit "Sweet Om Alabama", a nonprofit dedicated to sharing the benefits of yoga and expanding access to yoga

Oct 3 through Nov 1:
"2853 Miles of Tall Tales"

Opening receptions:

Friday October 3rd, 5-9pm (in coordination with Third Friday)
Guest bartender is Faris Malki at Cahaba Cycle: 100% of his tips will benefit Bici Coop
The mission of the cooperative isto create easy and equal access to cycling by providing affordable bicycles, maintenance, services and education, as well as a forum for sharing bicycle knowledge, activism and community.
Saturday August 16th, 10:30-6pm: Sugar-high caffeine reception!

The loos of Forest Park and Avondale's merchants
are turned into art installations by local artists

Each loo is listed with its exhibiting artist on the Facebook event
These installation could include props, photos, painted materials, 3D, video, and can be interactive (so visitors can take part to the installation:
add a piece to a collage, leave a note, etc...)

To submit as an installation artist on a future Tour de Loo,
please send an email to Vero, send low-res pictures of your artwork
and state what your installation will be.
